In 2017 the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism of Curacao was named Honorary Member of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Every year a pitch competition is held during GEW Curacao among mini companies founded by secondary school and the University of Curacao students
In June 2018 a Thank You event was held for partners/sponsors and collaborators.
