These two sessions are especially designed to let you reconnect with your purpose and create new opportunities:

 

1. Purpose, a powerful concept

Time: 14:00-16:00 PM.

What is the purpose of your company? Are you present to it?

During this session you will discover or reconnect with the purpose of your business

 

2. Creativity to thrive

Time: 16:00-18:00 PM

Do you take time to view your company from a creative standpoint? Are opportunities passing you by?

During this session you will be guided through the process of creating new opportunities for our business.

 

We close off the afternoon with a Happy Hour, Business Brainer style!

Certification Event for Elementary Schools

Certification event for 2100 students of 27 elementary schools from all neighborhoods of Curacao which participated in FnP's program 'Nos Komunidat'  and attended the classes on entrepreneurship / work readiness and financial education (the latter given by the Central Bank of Curacao and Sint Maarten).

Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Workshop by partnering organization Curaçao Chamber of Commerce Facilitator – Ashwin David of Deloitte
Theme: IDEATION 

This workshop will give you a practical approach to innovation by focusing on the following 3 elements:
- Discover: Identify your stakeholders;

frame the challenge from their perspective; conduct research;
- Define: Combine research findings and insight to identify the real customer needs;

reframe the challenge;
- Develop: Generate ideas and refine them.

Method:
The Lab will consist of a short interactive introduction and several hands-on activities to immediately
put the theory in practice.

                   Semi-finals Debate Competitions

Semi-finals of Debate Competitions of high school, college and university students. The most outstanding students will compete in these semi finals.

The finals will be held the week thereafter (on November 29th - at the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

Festival Empresarial

The Ministry of Economic Development, in collaboration with the Curaçao Innovation and Technology Institute (CiTi), will feature the 1st 'Festival Empresarial'

This 'festival for entrepreneurs' will grant start-ups the unique opportunity to acquire all the information required in one location (a one stop shopping concept) to start a new business. The start-ups can also do pre-registrations for their SME at this 'Business Festival'.

Doing business between Curaçao, The Netherlands and Suriname

To conclude the Global Entrepreneur Week Curacao,and kick-off a two-day Trade Mission organized by Internationaal Ambitieus, from the Netherlands, a networking event is hosted by this partnering organization and Bario Hotel World Heritage Otrabanda.

The Sunset Happy Hour networking event offers a unique opportunity to get in touch with companies from The Netherlands and Suriname to discuss eventual collaboration and turn business plans into goals.
